Born from a simple truth: women veterans deserve a community that sees them, supports them, and celebrates them.
Hope4Veterans is dedicated to serving the women who served. Through the Sisters by HER Side and our five program pillars, we provide a clear path from connection to thriving.
We believe every woman veteran deserves community, healing, and opportunity. Sisters by HER Side — our flagship peer network — is where that journey begins. It's the place where a woman first finds her sisters.
From there, we walk alongside each veteran through creative healing, mentorship, education, and into career and housing stability. Because thriving — not just surviving — is the goal.

Hope4Veterans was born from a simple, powerful truth: when women leave the military, they lose more than a career — they lose their sister support, their sense of identity, and often their footing in the civilian world.
Founder Lynn Geiser saw this firsthand. She watched women veterans struggle in silence with isolation, homelessness, and a benefits system so cumbersome that many simply gave up. She knew these women deserved to be seen — to go from invisible to visible.
So she built a sisterhood. What began as meet & greets and peer support grew into the Sisters by HER Side and a full spectrum of services: financial assistance, laptops, baby supplies, household goods, and the Peer2Peer Sister Program.
"We let them know that they matter. We are the catalyst between military women veterans and the resources they deserve."

Every woman who has worn the uniform carries a story of strength, resilience, and grace. Our Shero Spotlight celebrates the sisters who make this network what it is — women who show up for one another, lift each other up, and lead by example.
From peer mentors to program leaders, from first-time attendees to lifelong sisters — these are the faces of Sisters by HER Side. This is sisterhood in action.
